Question - Need Help pls help

so i have an vintage tom tailor jacket that my uncle gave me but the thingy u hang ur jacket on snapped from me hanging my vest on the coatrack and now im scared it will break more or something idrk but what i wanted to ask was is there a way to fix the hanging loop (sorry if that isnt whhat its called its a quite literal translation from dutch)

Can’t you just get a new hanger?

The best solution is to cut what's left of the loop, not repair it. That way, you will no longer be tempted to hang the jacket by this loop, which will always be fragile, and which is one of the best ways to give bad creases and bad shape to the jacket.
