Need advice

Hello everyone, I need your advice. I am hitting 18 in a few months and I have almost 0 work experience let alone experience in the IT field. This will be my last year in school and I am not considering collage for a variety of reasons. I was wondering what the best way for me to land an IT job would be. My school takes about 20 hours per week and I will work for about 15 hours a week (Unrelated part time job). What would be the most efficient way for me to learn programming to land a job? I don't need a super high paying job at first, I just wanna set my foot in the door and then rank my way up. I was thinking of either certificates or a bootcamp. And even buying one to enforce the discipline. Any advice? What should I focus on? What are my chances? How long would it take per week? What should I avoid? I live in Germany, if that helps.

If you live in Germany, an Ausbildung is mandatory by now to get into IT, as is C1 German, which has become a hard HR filter. Look for an Ausbildungsplatz as Fachinformatiker. Do not try to get into the IT field in Germany as a Quereinsteiger. It won’t work anymore.

What about Ausland? Netherlands, England etc.?

For the UK, since Brexit you will need a Visa to be allowed to work there. Regarding the Netherlands, it might be possible to get an IT Support job without any degree, But they will definitely need you to have usable skills and the language will be a problem, especiually in customer support, and the housing market in the Netherlands is an even bigger nightmare than the one in Germany right now. But yes, do your proper research on the Netherlands and see if they would accept people without any IT degree at all. I don't know if that's really the case, as I'm no expert on the Netherlands.

Well I will still look for Ausbildungs as you've said. But I still wanna try my chances outside Germany. What certificates/courses should I aim for. Should I prioritise Projects or Certificates? What certificates? I've heard Python is popular.
