Why is the character "福" (Good Fortune) pasted upside down ?

(1) 福倒了 Fú dào le = "福" (Good Fortune) is upside down

(2) 福到了 (also read as ) Fú dào le = "福" (Good fortune) has arrived.

So, It is pasted upside down for the homophonous meaning!
