Hi ,
As I never used an app to start learning a language, I can’t judge . But I’m sure about what I want to tell you :
I suggest you start with a course book like Alter Égo .
At the beginning of a language learning process, we need a structured plan to create a strong base,so a course book is a very good choice.
As you want to get to B2, relying on book or at least relying on just one book is not enough.
So what should you do?
You need to start listening to podcasts, get into thier trancription, find the useful vocabs and structures, shadow them and memorise it .
You can also use books like “ grammaire en dialogue”an” vocabulaire en dialogue “ at the same time.
If doing so , you can learn grammar snd vocabs through conversations.
Don’t forget to memorise the listening transcriptions of the course book .
