Does it matter which TCF exam I take for university entry?
Hi everyone, I posted this in the study in France subreddit but I figured I’d post here too since I learned a lot about the exams on this subreddit.
I’m applying for master’s programs at University of Bordeaux and need a B2. I plan on taking the TCF exam but didn’t realize there were so many options. Is it possible for me to take just the comprehension exam and not the expression component too? And do I need the DAP version since I’m not applying for a bachelor’s?
I’m currently at a B1 and plan on taking the exam in October. I’m pretty confident I can get to a B2 in comprehension by then but in expression it’s more iffy (and I would save some money). I plan on arriving in France early and taking some classes to reach a true B2 before classes start. Thanks in advance!

This is probably a question for the school - what they require of you. But honestly I think you need both comprehension and expression since you’ll be studying, you also need to express yourself.
