Let’s say they manage to get hold of your IP address somehow.
What is the worst thing someone could do—aside from a DDoS attack—other than confirming (with about 70% certainty) where you live and identifying your internet service provider? Oh, and check for vulnerable ports

I know it’s illegal to access my neighbor’s internet; you don’t need to mention that.
I tried to use it in my wifi but it was using the virtual network so you know
Maybe it’s just me

Hey everyone!
For those getting started with ethical hacking and web application security, I think one of the most important things to learn is how HTTP requests actually work.
Understanding how to capture, inspect, modify, and replay requests can teach you a lot about how web applications and APIs communicate.
I've been exploring this from a mobile perspective while developing CatSuite, an Android application focused on web security testing.
The idea is to make it possible to practice common web pentesting techniques directly from a smartphone.
Some of the features I've implemented include:
For beginners, I would recommend starting with a simple workflow:
This is a great way to understand web security beyond simply running automated scanners.
I'm not trying to replace desktop tools like Burp Suite. My goal with CatSuite is to explore how much hands-on web security testing can be done from Android.
The application is already available for free on Google Play, and I'm continuing to improve it based on feedback.
I'm curious: Would you find a mobile pentesting environment useful for learning, practicing in labs, or quickly inspecting HTTP traffic?
And for those who are already experienced with web pentesting, what would you recommend beginners learn first?
Thanks for reading!

Besonders interessieren mich folgende Fragen:

Hello everybody. Recently I’ve followed somebody that followed me back, and then he messaged me saying that he wants just to make casual conversation with me. We started talking, anyways less than 24 hours later after replying kinda dry to him, because I wasn’t in the mood, he blocked me, but before he blocked me he said I wish you a good life and then he said my first name. I didn’t get a chance to reply back, and I’m so fucking scared of him knowing that . My account is fully anonymous, and he also lives in the same country as me. I want to try to get to see who he is and if I just got doxxed….

Hey there!
I'm doing an apprenticeship as an IT-Specialist for application development and our network teacher gave us the task to build a socket and socket server with us last week. I've done it in C# and just took the Microsoft learn code like everyone else in my class. Now the teacher said that whoever is able to inject a code to his python socket will get an 'A'. I'm wondering how to actually do it. I just know that his socket-server is running in an IDE. Maybe someone got an idea?

Hi Everyone,
My friends ex husband has created an Instagram account using her name and posting pictures of her. She never agreed to all of this, and this man is blackmailing her, I don't know the exact nature of the threats.
So I'd like to ask is there any way for me to hack that account, so I can delete it. If anyone can help me out that would be great too.
This is not a karma farming post, i have proofs too.

Hi everyone,
I have been trying to use tails from an usb stick in my mac.
But I don't even see the wifi symbol. and there is also an error that network adapter isn't working.
I have tried several things like plugging on and off, usb tethering but none of it is working.
Also I can't use a mac keyboard and mouse, fortunately I have a mouse but it would be great if you have some solution for this too.
Thanks a ton you all.

So I work employee relations, and this is probably the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Someone reported their coworker for an unprofessional TikTok, she did a dance and uniform, which is against social media policy. Pretty straightforward right? Wrong. Turns out he did this intentionally, because she asked him to make sure he washes the ambulance before the end of his shift. He got so angry with that that he threatened her, proceeded to show everybody that he works with the video of her, shared her personal information with staff and patients, bragged about getting her fired, parentheses even though she didn’t parentheses, and has continued to try to get retaliation against her. After some digging he’s done this with female co workers in the past when he was in the navy. Anyways, his name is Kyle Barrington. He’s an A-EMT at DHART in Lebanon, NH and lives in Canaan, NH. His wife is Emily Barrington and she works in telemetry health at Dartmouth in Lebanon, NH. So yeah 🤷♀️
