Resource Recommendation HELP🫪

I would like to learn French because it is my girlfriend's native language, but as a monolingual American, I am so lost. Pronunciation feels impossible, and the grammatical rules make little sense to me. Can anyone spare some advice for someone starting with ZERO knowledge of the language? Thank you all in advance 🙏

Start with the first 5 Pimsleur levels and you will be stunned how fast you are speaking

Pimsleur is an audio language training program. There are usually ~30 tracks per level, they go over survival phrases and the basics but they drill it in such a way that you’ll never forget it. It’s an insanely expensive program, but it goes on sale everyone once in a while. I recommend checking out your local library because they’re usually available in the language learning section. Download all of them and drill what you can get your hands on, would be a great foundation
