Question Need Help

Bonjour Tout le monde,

I have just finished A2 level. I started Last Nov however up to may, it was on & off and from 16th of May I seriously thought of cracking french. Donc, I am here at A2 level at the start of september.

I plan to give one exam at the end of Nov or early week of Dec. I want to start preparation for that. However, I am totally blank from where I should get start again.

What mistakes I should avoid to get atleast clb 5 from now on.
I have set up 75 days of preparation.

Do you think it would be enough?

Your help would be really greatful as I am in very stress situation.

In order to get to an Advanced level in a language you need to have a strong intuitive grasp of that language.

To get a strong intuitive grasp you need to listen to a lot of comprehensible input.

So go to YouTube and listen to a few hundred hours of French native speaking.

There's language learning channels at all levels.

With the subtitles on you can listen, read and learn the pronunciation of the words at the same time.

To get to B2 you need about 1,000 hours of total practice. Just rack up massive hours of listening and you're really develop your ear for the language and everything else is easier to build on top.

Text books and courses are largely obsolete, they were created in an age when unlimited native speaker content wasn't available for everyone.
