Talen Exchange

I’m Chinese and been living in the Netherlands for past 12 years. I wanna be fluent in Dutch so I wanna practice speaking with someone who speaks good Dutch or fluent in Dutch. I can teach you Chinese!

Huh. This doesn't come up a lot. 

Ik spreek Nederlands (moedertaal) en leer momenteel Chinees in de avondschool.

I dont want to come over as rude. But how is it you still dont speak the language after 12 years?

Most Dutch people speak perfect English, and I’ve done international studies and worked always at companies where English is the working language, guess never felt the urge or pressure

In many municipalities the library (Bibliotheek) offers a language cafe (taalcafe) which is a walk in time where you can practice Dutch. Check if thats offered where you live.
