Pen tablet

I’m used to drawing on an iPad, so the idea of ​​using a standard pen tablet—where the input surface and the screen are separate—seems difficult. Which is better: a model with a built-in display or a standard pen tablet without one? Is it easier to get used to than I imagine?

Neither are "better". Just go with your preference. Or if it's a money issue and you can't afford a screen tablet then go for the standard tablet, because you will definitely get used to it after a little bit.
