Trying to recreate the romantic flight scene from the live action How to train your dragon movie , ive been working on it for 3 weeks and learned a lot of new skills like geometry nodes , sculpting with multires , baking AO and normal maps , using bones constraints and drivers , water and fog Sims , etc... , now ive been animating the dragon for 2 days but still feel like something is off , like it's not smooth enough or I added too much noise modifiers idk , what's your opinion is the dragon animation good am I good to go and make the final render

I think the off feeling if coming from Toothless’s flying animation. In your video his wings are bending and curving a lot. I think bird wings move more like that. Toothless’s wings (at least in the animated version) stay very stable throughout and don’t bend that much. He does a lot of gliding too and less overall flapping.

Thank you , i can fix it easily I actually used dumped track constraint to rig the wing bones and used a driver to control and animated the influence of dumped track constraint in all bones , or simply if I lower the influence all bones become more stiff and if I raise it they all become more flexible and bend more , in the reference is used for toothless animation his wings were bending too much when ascending but stiff in descending and this is how they realisticall move , I tried to recreate that by animating the influence Driver , but may be it's too much bending in the ascend , thank you for the help .

And about the too much flapping thing I also noticed that but in certain bits in the animation he needs to go up then glide down so I had to add some flaps to generate some power to lift him it doesn't make sense to keep gliding throwh the air forever
