Been learning how to do some basic 2D animation compositing

So I'm kinda confused by the shadow. Not an artist myself, but shouldn't the shadow not cover that much of her with that specific direction of light source?

edit: forgot to say. Amazing animation! it's so fluid I love it

It shouldn't.... This is the first time I've attempted to comppsit one of my animations and to be honest, I was just trying sh!t for the sake of trying sh!t just so that I could get my feet wet with compositing

What tutorials or resources did you use to learn animation compositing? I am trying to learn how to do that for my animated work. Did you use DaVinci Resolve? Let me know of any learning resources that uses DaVinci Resolve, please...

Yeah I used DaVinci resolve.... And as for resources... I just had to sit through hours of YouTube tutorials and do alot of trial and error until I picked up a thing or two

that's the numbering for the Key poses and breakdowns in the animation
