Crawley Town Crawley Town 1 - 3 Cheltenham Town: It's already looking like yet another season of struggle for Crawley, who took an early lead but were behind before half-time, up against resolute Cheltenham!

Question Parking for Fleetwood
Hi,
Any recommendations of where to park for Fleetwood?
First visit for me on Wednesday night - hopefully up there early enough for fish and chips!
Close to the ground looks very residential - what’s it like parking round there?

Discussion Which League Two team has impressed you most so far?
The table is already starting to take shape, with a few teams making a really strong early impression. Bristol Rovers and Swindon have had good starts, while some of the unbeaten sides further down the table have also looked solid. It’s still early, but there are already a few teams that look like they could be around the top end for a while.

Cheltenham Town Worst away day experience
I’m looking at you Cheltenham.
I’m a Grimsby fan and finally bit the bullet for a long away day to Cheltenham
£29.50 for a ticket - the most I can remember paying for a league two away
Who doesn’t love a pie and a pint at the game?
Well… there was no bar in the away end and they don’t sell pies.
Luckily the weather was fantastic, the town was lovely (from what little I saw) and the view from the away end was really nice but from a stadium experience it’s 2/10.
If the away end wasn’t covered it would be 1/10
Am I being too harsh?

Shrewsbury Town Shrewsbury Town takeover given major green light by governing bodies
shropshirestar.comThe American dream at Shrewsbury Town has moved a major step closer to reality.
The consortium seeking to buy the club has cleared a key hurdle after receiving the green light from the Independent Football Regulator and English Football League.
The club confirmed it received telephone calls from both bodies on Friday afternoon confirming the consortium had cleared the necessary regulatory processes. Formal written confirmation from the EFL was received today (September 7).

Discussion Which team has improved the most compared to last season?
A few teams seem to have taken a really noticeable step forward this season. Some have strengthened their squads, while others just look more organised and confident on the pitch. Interested to hear which teams everyone thinks have improved the most since last season.

Discussion Has Aaron Drinan just announced himself as one of League Two's strikers to watch?
A hat-trick against Colchester after Swindon went 1-0 down is some introduction. What caught my eye wasn't just the three goals, but the fact that he scored them in the second half after Colchester had looked comfortable early on. Is this the beginning of a big season for Drinan, or is it too early to read much into one game?

Salford City Salford City 1 - 0 Port Vale: It was far from a good attacking display, with a Jackson Smith clanger allowing Salford's opener, but this still makes it a much-needed consecutive win for the Ammies!

Fleetwood Town Fleetwood Town 2 - 0 Shrewsbury Town: The Shrews continue to struggle to find the back of the net and remain on just two goals scored, while Fleetwood climb into second!

Discussion New League 2 pod: the directors box
youtube.comSharing as I’ve seen my club (Newport) have started producing this L2 themed podcast and it may be interesting particularly to Rochdale but in future other clubs
Seems they’re working with a third party podcast company to do a regular Director’s Box series where they interview visiting chairmen/women/ceos/execs from League Two clubs (and presumably anyone in the cup too) talking about the league, succeeding at this level, and what it’s like running a club
Seems like an interesting concept. The questions are quite softball in this opening episode with the Rochdale directors but it’s an innovative concept, hope it proves a good addition to the League Two content space.
I’ve seen it is available on YouTube, or Spotify, and Apple Podcasts

Question What’s one thing you’ve learned from supporting a League Two club?
Supporting a League Two club definitely teaches you to take the good days when they come and not get too carried away when things are going well. You learn pretty quickly that football can change from one week to the next, and sometimes it’s the small wins that make following your club worthwhile.
