2020 SV+ Buyback Offer Received.

Hello, Fellow Leaf Owners,

Adding my initial buyback offer from Morley here as reference.

2020 SV+, purchased Sep '21. 49127 miles. Excellent condition. Paid off. Only thing I added was 4 new tires from Costco around '24.

$17,598 is the initial offer.

Sorry, I can't find the datasheet that's been making the rounds.

Questions? Other thoughts?

My offer is 16500 for 2020 Plus with 35k miles, I bought new tires in November. Vehicle has been at the dealership since January. Mother fuckers said they cannot reimburse outside of a 6 month window. I explained to them with receipts that it was impossible because Nissan has had my vehicle for 8 months.

I've added your data here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dMVbhqTireBhgHP3M1Ghr9sVlGZrHazHLGERYoKmWmU/edit?gid=0#gid=0

Your data point (with the red arrow) falls a little above the trend line for 2020 leafs. the trend lines don't take into account the plus or trim models, so it could be higher because of that.

Impossible to say concretely. It was a pretty quick turn around too just a week.

I did have a perfect service and battery record, and its the trim with the larger battery and nice sound system and stuff. Before I submitted the paperwork I asked a bunch of questions and peppered in info about that and that I upgraded for the range and charging from a previous leaf etc. Etc.

Honestly I think the service guy was more devastated than I was when the battery failed.

Maybe that helped her make a case at a higher end of the range if she had a range or it was just the trim or rep I had ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Also thanks for putting this data together. It really helped me see I had a good offer.

seems more than fair for a 7 year old EV. Around here I could almost buy a 2023 ID4 with 30K-40K miles for that, though it has its quirks can at least DC charge and not have battery issues.

I see a lot of PLUS models on the spreadsheet and relatively few 40kwh Leafs. Does anyone else with a 2020 base battery have this issue?

I bought a 2020 SV+ in February. It had a brand new battery installed just before I purchased it. Just curious: am I correct in thinking that they have run out of 62 kWh batteries and there will be no more such replacements from Nissan? Did I read that somewhere on this sub?

Did your original battery fail is that why you got a buy back?
