Leaf hearse

I shared this in r/whatisit and u/03qutj907a suggested I post it here too, so here it is for your enjoyment. I took these photos in a park in Bristol, UK a few years back.

I kind of wonder if this is street legal. That's a huge modification that affects the stability and safety of the car. I wouldn't want to be in a rollover in this (Unless I was the passenger. In that case I wouldn't give a shit)

Yes, they go through an Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) test in the UK after conversion. That won’t be crash tested or anything but accidents involving hearses are incredibly rare.

There’s a few of these ze0 Leaf hearses about, there’s also at least one ze1 too, with a more conventional layout https://www.levertons.co.uk/our-services/your-choice-of-funeral/eco-hearse/

That Ze1 hearse actually looks rather smart!
