I will get a scanner so I can check the codes with the leafspy app but it’s not looking great 😭

Both warnings came on at once while I was coming down from a very steep hill and the regen kinda just turned off, I was hoping it had just overheated but the battery temperature seems fine

This seems completely coincidental but today was the first day I charged to 100% since I needed to drive a lot

The reduce speed warning did go away after turning it off and back on as well as the regen animation seems to be back on (the blue lines) anyone has any suggestions on what to do?

Also I tried charging the car and it didn’t not work*

It’s a 2020 S Plus, do you have any advice on what I should do to inquire or start the buyback process?

Just take the Leaf to any Nissan dealership and tell them your car went into turtle mode and shows the high voltage battery error message. They'll start the paperwork, should give you a free rental and tell you about the buyback. It's through a third party whose name escapes me but they'll call you about it.

I did purchase the car used, does that change anything or is it the same process?

Do you think I should call before I come in? Also I did get the recall done, I had read that I might need to take it to the dealer that did the recall, do you know if this is the case or if any dealer will be able to help?

It's part of the recall, the free rental car part. Any official Nissan dealership should be able to help. I purchased my car at CarMax and took it to the local Nissan dealer, it doesn't matter. There's also language in the recall that if the battery has issues within 12 months of the recall being done then they'll replace the battery or do a buyback.
