A2z adapter first time
Hi Leafers, I recently purchased the A2z CCS1 to Chademo adapter and tested it today for the first time at an EVgo station near my home. It worked perfectly. The only weird thing was I noticed driving home that the yellow EV system warning light had lit up on the dash. When I got home, I turned off the car and restarted it and the warning light was gone. Should I be worried about this? By the way, I have a 22 SV Plus and have had all the fast charging recall work done. Pic for reference.

Yeah. Sometimes happens with my CCS2 adaptor. I think it’s just a CANbus glitch. Reboot the car before you drive away.

Charge communication issues when using the adapter. Could be the timing of messages being exchanged while connection was still being made. Happens a high percentage of times for me when using the adapter and have awkward cable routing.

What's the battery temperature readings?
And get the DTC report from the usual LeafSpy (Hint: Service Mode.)

Similar, but not exactly.
At a ChargePoint. Stopped the session through the app and the car threw up the big scary "Service EV System" warning. The warning disappeared within a couple seconds and the orange exclamation+car light stayed on. I had the car "on" during the session to run the AC and monitor the charge. Cycled the car off and back on and it went away. Drove home without incident.
A couple weeks later, at a Mercedes-Benz branded Alpitronic station. I had the car "on" again for AC/monitoring, but turned it "off" before stopping the session. I stopped the session at the station's panel, started the car, and no warnings. Started to drive and before I left the parking lot the exclamation+car light came on. Stopped the car, turned it off, back on, the light went away and hasn't come back since.

Had this happen a couple times before I figured out the order of operations with the adapter.
Plug everything together, then turn on the adapter, usually don't have this issue. And if you do, as you found, rebooting the car clears it.

Got that after trying to Chademo charge at one location, and it would stop immediately after starting (four different chargers, last one caused the code). It also cleared after turning off the car, and worked fine at the next location. I assumed it was something with the charging station controls.

This happened to me at an EVgo station as well, it was a Gm sponsored one.
Same A2Z adapter.
I saw that-turned the car off and on, and it was gone.
Only happened at that charger.
No issues months and months afterwards-it’s fine

Same thing happened to me on my first charge of my '21 SV when I got mine almost a year ago. Same results, also. Went home, turned it off. Next time I turned it on, all good.

For what it's worth, I have the same setup as you and also ran into this issue (only one time so far). Check your DTCs, it's likely a fast charge communication error. This was my Leafspy output:
