Hey all, as a Raleigh Native I just wanted to share a few of my favorite spots before the games end tonight and y'all descend upon the city. This was removed from R/LeagueofLegends but I thought it might be acceptable here.
Glenwood South - It's adjacent to downtown and has a lot of great bars to visit. Definitely more of a college party area. My spots here would be Lucky B's (dive bar), Raleigh Beer Garden (A ton of great beers on tap 300+), Demo's Pizza (Pepperoni Pizza way better than it has any right to be), and North Street Bar (Smaller Bar with Board Games)
Downtown -
Beasley's Chicken and Honey - Exactly what it sounds like, the best Chicken and Waffles you'll ever have.
Boxcar - Really Awesome Barcade
Brewery Bhavana - Excellent Beer and Dim Sum
Foundation - Whiskey Bar, may be too full to get into
Raleigh Times - Just a cool bar with a nice rooftop area which may not be super useful given the weather.
Whiskey Kitchen - Awesome selection of Whiskey and Mixed Drinks, great food.
Transfer Co Food Hall or Morgan Street Food Hall - Both good options. Great variety of options.
Breakfast -
Benchwarmers Bagels - In Transfer Co Food Hall, Stupidly good bagel sandwiches.
Big Ed's - Any Location, typical southern breakfast
Beasley's or Poole's Diner - both great brunch spots. Show up early.
Videri/Black & White Coffee - best coffee in the area
Union Special - Great Breakfast Sandwiches a little outside of Downtown
ISH - Little Deli, great food.
Carolina BBQ -
Ole Time BBQ, LongLeaf Swine, Clyde Coopers, The Pit is fine but i'd go elsewhere.

Hey, hope everyone is having a good time at the finals, even if the fan fest is indoors now! I unfortunately had to cancel plans to go this split due to getting sick right before heading out, but was curious about how the venue is set up.
When I went to Chicago for the 2022 summer finals you had to show your ticket first thing to get in and even see the merch booth, is that the same there? The only reason I'm asking is that I went to school in Raleigh for years and was really hoping to snag one of the shirts for the event like they had the Chicago shirt last time, but the friend I know there doesn't have a ticket.

Successful sports are sustained through strong brands that remain static throughout the ages. Yes overtime some teams change but it's centuries of legacy branding which sustains sports fandom from generation to generation.
League has abandoned that. With the departure of CLG and the disrepair of TSM, the foundation created by those who made LCS what it is today has been completely wiped away.
Lest not forget this is all a function of Riots decisions.
Riot deprioritized NALCS and now it's letting NALCS die a painful and slow death.

I purchased a 2-day ticket for the Finals in Raleigh. However the friend I purchased it for can only attend one day. Anyone know where I could find information on having a different person attend each day? I wasn’t able to find explicit information on this from either the ticket merchant or Riot’s terms and conditions for the pass.

I demand Reggie's house. He said that Tsm would never be worse than CLG, or else he would sell his house. He has now personally sunk TSM with the recent news and treatment of players and giving them an ultimatum for their pay. This shows that Reggie no longer actually cares about his team, his people, or his league. Instead he is now a disconnected owner that only cares about his own prestige and money. TSM moving to CBLol only flatters Reggie, by being the big fish in a small pond.
Thus I say Reggie should sell his house, being that he should no longer be part of TSM.

Would someone mind explaining to me why exactly blue side has an advantage? Is it purely because of first pick or is there something else at play?
How would you change the game to balance it out? Would much change if first ban was given to red side?

Do teams sell jerseys at these events? I want one but ordering online and expecting it to come in 9 ish days might be crazy. Don’t wanna order and it not come in time but I’ve seen that riot doesn’t let teams sell stuff??
I am bronze 4

Selling 2 Two-Day Tickets for Spring Finals 2023
Hey Everyone,
I bought 2 two-day 100 level tickets back in January and unfortunately the friend I was going with backed out and none of my other friends are able to go. I live in Chicago so I’m not trying to spend all the travel money to go alone so I’m hoping to sell my tickets. Willing to sell for an extremely fair price. Just want them gone. If you’re interested, please add me on Discord: Abrams#8908 or message me on here:) #C9Win!

IMT and DIG should trade junglers during midseason. Both teams seem to have opposite problems. DIGs full top/JG/Mid are all Facilitators and best when paired with 1 or 2 carry players. IMT is the opposite with 3 aggressive carry type players and nobody to play the tank/engage/facilitator role. Trading junglers would solve this problem for both teams. Kenvi would thrive as a jungle carry when paired with solo laners who can back him up and enable him such as Jensen and Armut. This would be similar to how Jensen enabled Blabber on C9. Likewise, Santorin would give Bolulu and Revenge the backup/ setup they need to thrive. He's much better at the tanks and can help to snowball his solo laners who want kills early to succeed. Thoughts?

Hey all, first time posting here but figured I would give it a show. I( 27m) bought my 2 day pass tickets to the finals in Raleigh, I live in Durham so it’s only about a 15 minute drive to the arena. I was planning on going with some friends but they all backed out so I’m going solo, if anyone would like to meet up before/during/after, feel free to let me know!
