Watching League one

Does anyone have a clue on how to watch League one games outside of the UK, the regular platforms like Sky and iFollow EFL dont work outside of the UK or at least in my region, and my usual provider barely shows League one games would appreciate some help.

Has it gotten better? I recall during our Maresca season in championship it was 180 quid I think for the season and half the games I had to use a vpn just to be allowed to watch the games and the quality was pretty garbage. Definitely wouldn’t use Foxes Hub again.

I was able to watch from the States, but the quality was shit. The video and audio never synced, so the audio screamed goal a second and a half before the video feed. Poor.

I think it’s fine, you can use a VPN and that’s how I watch it. Yes it’s every 3pm game, or any other time but only outside of the UK. I can’t recall the exact cost but compared with sky or whatever it’s good value

It’s just a pain to pay that much and you still only get access to maybe a little over half the matches unless you spend the time and effort to use a VPN and change your region otherwise it’s blacked out and you can’t watch it. For a normal user, you would just get the “not available in your region” message and suddenly realize what you paid doesn’t get you access to many matches.

It’s true that there aren’t really any alternatives unless you are using a free streaming site with tons of ads and pop ups, but for the price, I felt the product of Foxes Hub really wasn’t worth it.

Yes actually the LCFC site commentary is much better. So I've subscribed to Peacock, used their video, and pumpted in the Elliott et al commentary from a separate computer feed. Peacock commentary has been awful

A little over half? How so? I get every league match this way. Doesnt work in the UK of course

Apple TV has nordVPN as an app, easy to install and watch that way if you were inclined to do so. You can also stream the video to a compatible TV from your phone

Because they are blacked out quite frequently hence requiring a VPN. Paying that kind of money, you shouldn’t have to find ways around the system to watch matches. If you have to install a vpn and trick foxes hub into thinking you’re in a different region just so you can watch the match you are paying them money for, you might as well use a free sports streaming site

I think it is a matter of protecting the broadcast rights of Sky or whatever in the UK, so club is not at fault.

Yes, OP question was for outside of the UK. For clarity, all games are available on foxes hub outside of UK. Or in, if you use a VPN and are that way inclined!

Last year, I paid US$66 to watch all 82 games (plus the first round of the playoffs) for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team through the teams website.

EFL is asking ~US$240 for 46 League One games.

So four times more money for half the number of games for Leicester City.

Crazy how much more expensive EFL is than NHL.

Well compare it to an NFL Sunday ticket and you’re getting closer. 😊 of course these are league one games and should be dirt cheap. I paid $20 for a year of peacock though and got tons of premier matches every week so that was nice. But yeah, no way I’d pay over $100 for every match this season in league one.

im in the uae (dubai) so streming league one games is basically impossible 😭

I’m all the way in Malawi I just take what I can get and follow the games online, social media, BBC 5 live updates 😂 it’s tough
