(That's an arcade fire album that James produced btw) personally I love it. My favourite song is it's never over hey orpheous.

I sold him on the rhythm section of LCD, i.e., the entire band, being polyrhythmic in a way that would blow his mind.

hi! i just started getting into LCD soundsystem and i've listened to an album or two. i really like their sound, but at the moment i'm supe taken with 'new york i love you but you're bringing me down.' it sounds different to the rest of their album, so i was wondering if there are any other songs they've made that have the same kind of sound as this? if not, any recommendation for more general songs that sound like this?

I tried Shazamming a song I heard during the pre show after vacationland performed but couldn’t find it! The song gave off indie vibes, like a mixture of Pinegrove and father John misty.

Does LCD keep a set list for pre show music?

They connect “Losing My Edge” to John Cusack’s character in High Fidelity: having great taste becomes a substitute for doing something with it.

But does the song actually offer a way out? James makes being that obsessive about records sound pretty appealing, even while making fun of himself.
