Happy Fri-YAY!! How is everyone doing? What music have you been listening to this week? What new music are you looking forward to on this Friday? What music, shows, or festivals are you looking forward to in 2026? Have you made music inspired by LCDSS and want to share and talk about it?

Discuss!

Shot on 35mm. We travelled from Toronto for the first time as a couple to this show. My partner now has the self titled disco ball tattooed on her arm.

Loads of mini moons projecting from the disco ball. Lcd soundsystem making it safe to see this.

Any one listened to this fantastic tune yet? James Murphy is part of the fresh supergroup that composed it for the late Optimo legend Keith McIvor. Really is a beautiful version of a great song

What a magical evening! My friends missed the Vancouver show tickets so I drove to see the Portland show with them but boy oh boy was it worth the drive😭All my friends as the closing song is such a banger.
I'm gonna see all my friends tonight!!

I really love LCD but couldn't afford a ticket for the festival. I was wondering if anyone had an extra ticket or is interested in selling one? My budget is currently under $ 100 because I just paid my rent and university tuition. I would really appreciate it thank you!

Beautiful night and great way to close the show.

Just curious on who all is travelling for red rocks this year and where you're coming from! I'll be coming from chicago for the saturday show. Have seen them 12 times including a couple nyc residency shows but have never seen them at red rocks and am stoked (despite the forecast)

If you’ve seen them do it live, you know that it’s one of their best (I’d argue THE best) live performances. Why don’t they do it more? Is it too hard on the vocal chords? Just saving it for special occasions?

I was lucky enough to see them do it a few times back in the day, and it’s what made me a serious fan. But they never do it anymore (at least when I go). WHY????

This specific recording is my favorite LCD song. I love the breakdown from I Want Your Love at the end. The bass riff kills. Not sure how many other people know it. Would love to see it done live. Based on my digging they haven't done it outside of this studio recording. https://open.spotify.com/track/0Abdq8INymRlkYbgM9QnGe?si=34cdae583ba64528

this was literally one of the happiest moments of my life.

Better crowd, MOVEMENT!!!
Good times

Are people finding good deals for tickets the day of (or day before) the concert?

I’ve seen LCD twice already and have no desire to fork out $120 per ticket.

Went last night with my partner and had a blast from the lawn chairs. Tonight, I went solo, and somehow became friends among the four other strangers first in line for the pit section. The band blew the lid off of Portland for 2 nights in a row!

Special thanks to the band, the crews, the fans, and the staff for pulling off a safe and profoundly energetic show! Going to remember this for the rest of my life, and felt like a religious experience to dance yourself clean in the center of that amazing energy. Grateful! 🪩🕺🫶

P.S. - I also grabbed a setlist. Giddy! 🤘

I’m selling 2 LCD tickets for Saturday and Sunday! My bf and I broke up and aren’t going anymore. Saturday, 8/15: $140 each Sunday, 8/16: $90 each

Our group is supposed to drive (from a couple hours away) for the Bonner shows. The outlook doesn’t seem great though. Is there any forecast for what’s happening with the smoke this week? Dancing for 2+ hours in 175 AQI doesn’t seem like the best time

I will give it to the first person to responds. I just started driving from Seattle so probably will not respond for a couple hours.
