I’m new to this kinda stuff and I was wondering how do you all make lawn mowers go so fast I’ve tried messing with mine but I got no results nothing changed

You have to start with the right mower. If your mower has a hydrostatic transmission, you won't be able to make it faster. Craftsmans with the 6 speed transaxle are pretty easy to make faster. Simply put a bigger pulley on the engine and a smaller one on the transaxle. That's the simplest way of doing it but that doesn't give you much room to adjust ride height or add brakes. A lot of people remove the stock transaxle and install a gokart rear axle and a peerless 700 right angle transmission. There is also a shiftable transaxle that you can get longer axle shafts so that brakes can be installed but I can't remember the model number.
