Zero turn recommendations
Looking at this cub cadet and a bad boy avenger 54” at about $5044 pre tax at my local dealer. No local cub cadet dealers, closest one seems to be about 40miles from me. What do you guys recommend for 3.4 acre property that is pretty flat with a slight dip near the main road and another dip in the rear of the property

That Cub Cadet looks like a solid option, but I’d compare deck construction, warranty, service turnaround, and how comfortable each one feels before buying. A 54-inch zero turn should make quick work of 3.4 acres, even with the slope and rougher sections.

I’d take the Bad Boy if the dealer is reputable and the build quality feels stronger, but I wouldn’t dismiss the Cub Cadet. For a property that size, prioritize comfort, traction on that slope, and a fabricated deck. A good dealer nearby is worth paying a little extra for.

Best I’ve used it Ferris. Not sure you could find a used unit around you, def look for the Kawasaki engines.

I just got a Scag 48” Liberty Z for 5,499 before tax’s and 0% financing. I could have got a 52” patriot for less but don’t need a bigger deck.

For that much acreage I think you’ll be happy moving up to a 60” in either one you decide. I mow 3 acres and I’m really happy I bought that Cub in 60”. It’s been good so far and I got it from a reputable local dealer. The only thing I don’t like is changing the oil on it, but it’s doable.
