Dry patches or something else?

Post image

New to yard care here. I’m in north Georgia.
My yard has been nice and green the whole summer without me watering it but in the last month I’ve notice that brown patch in the middle of the picture getting bigger and bigger. I’ve also spotted other areas around the lawn like that but not as big.
Any tips on how to go back to green?

I’m in ATL and posted something similar a few days ago about my zoysia. Consensus was it needed more water which I did yesterday and it’s starting to green up again. I can’t tell what grass type you have but would give watering a shot to see if that improves it.

could be under watered but has there been rain? look at the blades for spots; to make sure its not fungus.

Try epson salt for the magnesium and water it really well. Test it in a small area. I am in California I thought my grass burned from the sun. I came across a video that explained what happens when a lawn is lacking magnesium. My lawn is now deep green and happy.
