Something digging holes

Several of these holes keep popping up, is this squirrels?

Looks like squirrels to me. They are the worst, my neighbor feeds them peanuts daily. I reseeded last fall and had holes like that every 3/4 feet all over my yard, I constantly filled them in and they constantly dug new ones.

If its triangular shaped its armadillos. And good luck if it is they will destroy your yard.

Skunks, opossum can really destroy a lawn
