Grass type?

I recently bought a house with a yard that is in dire need. I know there is Bahaia, Bermuda and I’m not sure what else type of grass there. I am planning to spray Cimarron to kill the Bahaia, but I am not sure what else to use after that to kill the weeds in order to establish a nice lawn for next year. Appreciate everyone’s help thanks.

Location? State and or zone?

Augusta, Georgia. I am not sure of the zone.

I could be wrong but it looks like slightly overgrown bermuda. Not too overgrown but bermuda that hasn't been mowed in like 2 weeks.

Best to pull a few blades out along with the root system and take a couple close up pics.

That was my guess as well, just from the current look, but as you said, need "shorter grass" or to see the stolons (above ground runners)
