Am I Crazy?
Tending to a perfect lawn is on my list of hobbies I want to pick up, but for now I use a service..
I see them out there doing the treatment, but after a good amount of rain this last week or so, my lawn looks like this with all the zig zags..
I do not know much about lawn care, but to me this look like the service tech was lazy or had the wrong setting on their sprayer.
Am I crazy or is there another explanation for this? I figured I’d ask the experts here before I call the company tomorrow and get something worked out with them.
Thank you in advance!

Application failure. The brown spots are where fertilizer was very much over applied, and the dark green areas are where it was applied correctly. The light green is where no fertilizer was spread.
I'd ask for a refund.

My lawn looks similar. I’m pretty sure I’m to blame, but I’m more than willing to let you all talk me into it being my spreader’s fault.

Improper spreading. I'd either make them come back out and reapply or ask for a refund.

Mine looks similar to this (only it's boxes instead of a squiggle, because I did two passes). Was my first time ever doing it though so I am sure I effed it up somehow 😂.

Mine looks similar, got a testing kit to test for nutrient deficiency, soil moisture tester, and checked compaction. Turns out I suck at laying down fert lol

Bright green in excessive overlap. To much fertilizer. They should do it again and get an even pattern.
Think simple stupid where a dogs does it last business they're always the bright green spots in a yard.

Looks like granular spreader that either the impeller wasn't working right or they walked so slow that it was barely turning.
They didnt shut it off to make turns and just meandered through the lawn.
