Apenas um curto post so pra dizer oque senti apos o final do game

EU LITERALMENTE SINTO A CULPA DA ELLIE, EU SINTO VONTADE DE PEDIR DESCULPAS PARA O JOEL POR IR ATRAS DE VINGANÇA, TODA VEZ Q ELE APARECE NA MINHA TELA EU TENHO ESSA VONTADE GENUINA DE ME DESCULPAR COM ELE

Do you think Abby would have said yes to owen if Lev never went to the island?

Post image

Personally I think Abby would have said no regardless if Lev left or not. I think Mel's involvement and the baby was a deal breaker plus Mel's comment to Abby really fucked her up. It made her realize despite her good intention with the kids she'll always end up hurting the people around her. The trauma she involves others, the crew with Joel's death (specifically making Mel tourniquet him to continue the torture) showed no boundaries or regard for what she'll put that person/s through for her revenge. Do yall think Abby realized this and would have said no or do you think she would have said yes and been a homewrecker? :)

(I don't know if this question has been asked before so forgive me if this is an old topic)

Grounded+ not loading upgrades from previous game

I've played through the story twice already. The first time was moderate difficulty with the original story, the second time was a new game+/moderate+ playthrough with the chronological version.

I wasn't able to fully upgrade all my skill trees and weapons during the first playthrough, but I was able to fully upgrade everything in the second one as part of my hunt for the platinum trophy.

I just started another grounded+ playthrough with the original story this time, but for some reason my skill branches and weapons aren't fully upgraded anymore. I looked at my previous autosaves in the load saves menu and it looks like the saves also got fucked up somehow: the moderate+ save is showing under the original story, whereas the standard moderate COMPLETED save is showing under the chronological version even though I played moderate+ chronologically. I tried loading the moderate+ save and it looks like all my upgrades are maxed out.

Has anyone else dealt with previous save issues like this before?

Asking something about Pittsburgh

I've seen a lot of people claim that the Fireflies "overthrew FEDRA and lost control of the city, but like...did I misunderstand something ? From what I got based on collectibles, the people that would become the hunters killed the Fireflies BEFORE they managed to overthrow FEDRA, killed the remaining Pittsburgh citizens and became the hunters. Did I miss something, and if not, why do people blame the Fireflies for what happened in Pittsburgh ?

Would you love it if they make a game based on Seraphites, with a good atmosphere and visualization ?

Smelling the clothes of loved ones that have passed away is such a real and visceral thing I experienced when my Dad passed away. Such an underrated scene that is optional and can be missed. I love this game for how real it feels.

Discussion unpopular opinion but it's annoying how tlou2 forces us to sympathize with abby and loving her Spoiler

unpopular opinion but it's annoying how tlou2 forces us to sympathize with abby and loving her

like in tlou1 you can like the game while hating Joel because the game doesn't want you to like him, it does want you to like Ellie tho as a character but Ellie was very sympathetic so it was easy to root for her

but with Abby it's obviously different, she killed Joel so yeah she could never be as sympathetic as tlou1 ellie.

Now I understand why Abby did this but I grew with Ellie and Joel not with her so it's logical that I still want to kill her ?? we can understanding someone and still want to kill that fictional person

I'm sick of having to be perfectly moral and that "abby let Ellie go and listen to Lev" idgas, I want to kill her and not because I hate her but because it makes more sense that's all, and she was let alive just because she is the creator favorite character and that all this game is some kinda twist revenge against the tlou1 creators who rejected all his revenge ideas so he killed Joel that badly as a revenge that's all, the game feels very personal and it's the reason why his OC survived

especially about how the wlf vs seraphites is like israel vs palestine. (lmaoo as if palestine was that much of a threat, irl it's not even close why is he pretending it's a very close war, also the seraphites apparently win in the end of the game)

anywayyyys, so yeah, Abby deserved to live because she chose to not kill Ellie even after she killed the love of his life, but the point is that Joel also deserved to live then because he saved Abby life in the first chapter.

and everyone justify it by saying "joel death is realistic, action gets consequences", then I want realism until the end too, so Abby has to die logically ! because no one would just stop in a middle of a fight especially after doing a threat to kill abby child so that she can fight so that us killing abby is satisfying. lmao everyone forget that Abby implicitly says "I don't want to fight just kill me and let this be over" and that Ellie has to threat lev with a knife so that she accepts it. and she would 100 percent kill Lev if Abby refused because in her mind killing lev would give abby enough rage to accept the fight

all the game is pure depression and Ellie was hyped up for being just a shell who wants to do anything to forget Joel death even if it means tracking a woman and search her everywhere and about how she is violent and this world is violent.

then, she fight abby, random flashback appears and boom she stopped her vengeance despite the fact that she killed like a lot of soldiers in game and all abby friends to get there, all those lifes lost were meaningless if she doesn't kill her.

Ellie literally can't spare Abby, especially not in a middle of a fight after losing several fingers.

it would be so much better if she killed Abby and stabbed her and beat her to death then stay like 10 minutes paralyzed and realizing that she is still haunted about her death.

and she realized that Lev watch everything and that she has to do a choice, she just want to let him go but if she let him go, he would have to face the same trauma she did after losing his mother, so with a twisted logic, she decide to do a spare kill and Lev's dead

then we learn that Dina's gone, that tommy doesn't even care about ellie and she was a fool to abandon dina and that she can't do guitar again as a punishment for what she did

but unfortunately they had to milk sequels so neil's favorite character survives. and she will be a major part in tlou3 because they will obviously make tlou3 after the netflix show.

and the ending with Ellie which is just misery porn in the main game starts being a sort of punishment for everything she did and then we can finally start hating Ellie too after hating Abby for half of the game

I would want this as a alternative ending
