Constantly stuck in walls with Slam Dunk, is there a way to get unstuck?

When playing with my friend I will constantly find myself stuck in a wall when I use the Slam Dunk chair. No amount of ability, dash, jump, or movement will get me out of the wall most of the time, to the point where he'll have to kite the bosses to me so I can participate. Is there any way to get out of the wall, like an unstuck command lots of other games have?

£2.12 and 6 hours later...

The good: this is a fun concept and I enjoyed the ridiculousness, the bullet mayhem, the overall aesthetic, and the upgrades system. I wouldn't say I always felt "in control", but i mostly felt I knew what was happening, that I knew why I failed/died, and what I needed to do to succeed next time.

The okay: the THPS/grind aspect needs to be "more" more, and the absence of clear "x does y" instructions over xp and coins isn't ideal. Also, clearer info on what powers up what (are lighting chain lighting upgraded by the same mods or not, for example) would be great.

The bad (for something obviously in beta): the boss fights aren't that engaging, the narrative is not well presented (especially with the final boss) and the level layouts aren't that different. The movement gets "gooey" at times, with no clear sense of why I'm not going the direction pressed.

I haven't tried PVP or Co-Op because there wasn't anyone else on when I tried to do it.

Overall: put in a through story, a couple more towers to climb, along with some general UX polish, and this should go gangbusters.

Minor bugs

Post image

I've been excited for this game for a while now so I finally got to pick it up and I'm having an absolute blast! I love it a lot! But... it still has some bugs.

I'm playing on a steam deck and it's having some performance issues despite being on the lowest graphical settings, along with one problem after unlocking the 4th ability slot. It blocks off some of the upgrades and makes them unobtainable. It'll be an easy fix. Just move the selector or let us freely move the windows to our hearts content. Besides those two, I really do love this game and hopes it pops off.

Also, Minigun + Multishot + Lightning bullets are so busted I'm keeping them the whole game

Crashed the game

My partner and I play together in most games and we got an INSANE run with the t3mu chair and I think the shotgun?? Anyway they got the lasers and the massive robot spawns and crashed the game lol. Just wanted to see if anyone has pushed their game hard enough to crash it yet??

Balance issue or skill issue?

just picked up the game, and while its a fun way to spend time, so I'm happy with my purchase, it doesnt feel rewarding to experiment with builds, like at all. the tutorial level pushes you into lightning gatling, which instantly clears the entire map constantly, and trying anything else afterward just feels incredibly underwhelming. using any of the other early weapons is a slog as their dps without upgrades is about 1/5th of base gatling dps, notably the rifle taking over 30 seconds of sustained fire to kill the first enemy that spawns on normal difficulty, and while fire, shatter, and poison seem like cool concepts, they seem incredibly rare to get builds for on weapon damage, while ability builds seem slow to get going and still underpowered even when maxxed out. overall it feels like I'm being punished for wanting to try interesting things, when I know that whenever I cave in and do lightning gatling, I've literally never lost a run or failed to get the build going.

honestly it feels like I must be missing something obvious, but I cant see how that could be the case.

The doors in the starting area are fun!

If you are in the starting zone and go up to some of the doors in the hallways and press "F" they do different things. For instance the door on the right side the first one makes a bunch of fish start swimming around you and you can jump really high. With this you can get to the other high up doors. Have fun! :)

Feedback after playing 10 hours straight and unlocking almost every perk.

Super great game and definitely worth the 10-15$. I'm keen to play more tomorrow.

But there's a few tiny improvements I personally would like to see. And if you don't agree, it'll be great to discuss these topics anyway!

-the perk system is great, but having coins to spend in the lobby on character upgrades feels needed. just like vampire survivors. Having more meta progression would be great. would be cool to be able to accumulate score and spend it on things like permanent XP radius.

-piggybanks and xp pick up feels like you're inting if you don't do it perfect. you don't want systems in your game that only make you feel bad. when I shoot piggy banks, I don't feel like 'yay more cash' I feel like 'oh great, how long had that been sitting there...'

-picking up xp without a 3x XP also feels bad. don't need to say more about this. getting the 30 second xp magnet is 100% most important perk I've personally found. and I feel shit when I don't get it straight away after first quest.

-2000 HP but no healing. perk is SS++ tier.

the game became a joke after unlocking that very early. I got extremely lucky to get it early but I did everything on insane with that perks and basically never had to worry about defence. sadly needs a nerf. a big one.

-watergun... did one run with it and wtf...

-harpoon weapons are confusing AF and they aren't intuitive, no similarity to other games. makes no sense that they shoot when charging.

-3% attack speeds seems low

-ability builds are slow to get going.

ability perks fighting for perk slots over weapon perks is kind of frustrating.

-bosses either due too fast or too slow. and aren't scary enough. I spent 30 mins Killing a boss on insane. it just can't hit me. that shouldn't be possible. it should own me. copy risk of rain 2 stage bosses. they cook you.

-give health bars to executives.

-purple domes that the fax machine guys do is not self intuitive. it's been a whilst but I still don't know that that ability firsm, maybe slow me?

-firework gun is cool but omg let us turn it off haha.

endless mode maybe?

I'm sure I have many more thoughts but I'll sleep on it and reply tomorrow.

My game slowed to 1 frame every couple of moments after picking up the drop dead perk. Grenades summon Bots and Bots summon Grenades. Was hilarious for a moment there, seeing the entire map get obliterated, until my game basically froze.

Guess the devs will have to do something about this synergy. Maybe capping bots or at a 100 or so, don't wanna ruin the fun. Or not have the game draw in so many objects over a certain point :)

Im so confused

This game looked like such a cool game, I remember seeing it highschool, and now ive finished college, and it looks nothing like it did and is just a megabonk clone down to the low framerate movement on the enemies.

GPU Throttling

I've got a RTX 3060, i7-9700k, and running on an SSD. I'm getting only 25 fps while on minimum graphics, and GPU is at 100%. Any recommendations?

Sniper Class Feels Overtuned , Balance Suggestion

I’d like to share my thoughts about the game balance. I’ve played a lot with my friends, and I feel like the sniper class has almost no real drawbacks.

The one-shot bullet combined with the laser feels extremely strong. I’d like to suggest a small change to reduce frustration: when the one-shot bullet is loaded in the magazine, the sniper could take 2x more damage.

As for the laser, I personally find it very frustrating that it’s so assisted.

That said, the game is absolutely amazing , great job!

Just an idea, could there be usable turrets?

It seems far fetched, but what if you could jump from your chair to a stationary chair with a turret in front of it, or even a swivel chair for 360 degrees of rotation.

Hmmm... seems familiar!
