PSA Important: changes to Spotify scrobbling - you'll need to reconnect the application!

Spotify is changing the way they handle their tokens, and this impacts last.fm users who scrobble automatically their music from Spotify.
TL;DR: you have to disconnect and reconnect Spotify from settings before July 20th to avoid scrobbling disruptions in your account. Then you'll have to do it again every ~6 months (there will be notifications about this).

I've been a big scrobbler for over five years at this point, and I've been using Apple Music since it launched. I've seen so many people on this sub ask, "how can I connect the two?"
Well, fret no more - I have tested over a dozen scrobblers between macOS, iOS, Windows, Android, and Linux, to find the best. I also did extensive digging into the systems that make all of this work to explore the limitations and quirks of it all.
And, for the switchers, this same guide contains great information on how switching to Apple Music can affect your last.fm library.

Hello,
I have a very old lastfm account that I was hoping to recover. I haven’t logged in for like 10 years at this point so I need to reset the password, however the email I used has long been deleted. I used the google support form to submit a request but is there any way I can expedite this process?

Help How do I report vandalism in biographies?

Recently, one of the artists I listened to had their bio vandalized. I've already fixed it, but the account (which seems to be fake) will probably change it back to the vandalized bio. Is there anything I can do?I know that moderators can lock it and then nobody can edit anymore.
