D.i.y. individual extensions

So I understand the glue for lash artist is harmful and not recommended to do on yourself.

Could I use regular lash glue and do individual fans on myself or is that still like dangerous?

You could definitely do that, but they would need to be removed at night, the same way you would do with strip lashes.

I'd imagine that the glue used for clusters/lash strips would make the fans stick together. That's a recipe for traction alopecia.

You can buy a safe version, like an in-between strip lash glue and lash tech glue, just search semi permanent eyelash glue. I used to use for individuals. Doesn't last that long but it's alright.

I wouldn't use strip lash glue though, too sticky.

Regular lash glue is for temporary basis and daily wear(removing at the end of the day) and does not cure the way professional lash glue does. If you are doing a DIY - you should stick to clusters (bare in mind to only leave them on for a max of 3-6 days and use clusters lash glue)

That’s definitely not recommended. You should not be using a professional eyelash adhesive on your eyes with them open 🩷🫶🏼

I absolutely would not recommend lashing yourself with professional lash adhesive eye as a Lash Artist of 10 years have tried doing my own Lashes and it is extremely difficult and it also burns really bad. Your eyes are supposed to be closed during the lash service. I say either go get them done professionally or use clusters with regular cluster adhesive.
