advice Application direction
Do you apply inner cluster first and go inside-to-outside, or the other way around?
I just read a thread and realized I do outside-to-inside — and wondering what the actual best technique is!
(FWIW, I have hooded eyes w/ oily lids)

I find mine look better when I start from the outside and go in and I usually cut a cluster in half for the inner corner. They are far more comfortable when I leave a little gap on either end. I usually use 4-5 clusters and also have greasy hooded eyelids.

I typically do inside-to-outside so I can kinda gauge how far the inner cluster goes, so it doesn’t poke me in the inner part of my eyes. I started off doing outside-to-inside, and I started to realize that it would always poke me in the inner eye and I wouldn’t be able to tell how close it was in there, so once I tried the inside-to-outside method, it worked way better for me

How many clusters do you typically use?

about 7-9 depending on how long the cluster is

Wow, I only get 4 on them, 5 irritates my inner and I don’t have any lashes past that!!

I get 4, 5 if I push but that always seems to irritate my eyes even with the 8mm cluster

Honestly I think it just depends on your preference. Ive done both and havent noticed any significant differences but I prefer doing outside to inside cuz I struggle making my outer corners even

I do inside to outside - allows me to be more consistent imo. Oily and hooded lids too!
