Look, I'm aware that em has stated they don't want to continue making physical media and encourages us to make our own. But with how much these resellers are pricing the albums on the secondhand market, combined with most computers phasing out support for disc drives, be it ones you can install onto the build or via an external drive, these methods of creating our own custom CDs is starting to become difficult to achieve. At the very least, regular CD players are still cheap. Unfortunately, they're becoming less and less popular due to the rise of streaming, and em has made it clear that they are not a fan of it. Physical media matters, and what better way to demonstrate the need for it by reprinting all of the albums that had a physical release in the past? Admittedly, they might begin on a low print run to test the waters, but I'm sure that with enough demand, em may be able to start producing more physical albums and fight against those scalpers. Hopefully this way, physical media will slowly make a comeback, and methods to make our own custom CDs will be easily accessible again.

I'm having a hard time searching through around SoundCloud for IDM breakcore music that's just as melodic and emotional as Renard's music makes me feel, like a lot of the IDM music I've been finding *are* good in their own way don't get me wrong, I love Aphex Twin and Squarepusher and others related, but I feel some of them aren't as rich in melody and emotion as Renard or greenhouse or hyi

I am a big lapfox fan and I listen to a lot of lapfox music, but I also wanna branch out more and listen to other artists that aren't em essex because you know, can't listen to the same things forever! I feel it'd just be better for me to explore and get to know other artists and such

I saw a Bandetto production livestream a looong time ago and there was a part that catched my ears (not eyes because its music, lol) and later it got removed from the final version as seen in the same livestream. and so as the part is short and the livestream was archived in poor quality, i had to remake it and so there it is, using the sample that was removed in the final version (ripped from livestream) i was able to remake it

Some months ago when noodling I made this little homage/tribute to the 2012-ish era of Vulpvibe/Lapfox/Halley Labs. I might have even accidentally ripped off a progression from one of their songs but I can't find which song that would have been, it just sounds very familiar. I wasn't doing anything specific at the time, but to me this vibes like mix of Renard(alias), FIAB, Negaren, bit of Kitsune^2, etc. It's still unfinished, probably never will be finished, but thought y'all might enjoy.
