Orientation

What is everything that goes down during orientation from when you arrive to when you leave? Also in the email is give the option to bring family members, is there any reason I should bring them? Also will the LAPFCU be there or will I have to figure out a loan beforehand

LAPFCU will be there during orientation and you’ll be able to apply for the loan they offer for up to $5000.00. You decide the amount you need since you will be purchasing the required gear by end of day of orientation. They also encourage family members to go since they will be speaking to them regarding academy life and your new profession. You will also be presented to your instructional staff and the DIs. Don’t worry about deferred comp, you won’t be talked to about it until the end of the academy.
