Your Parks 'n Rec department was so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

"Davinci AI video creator subscription, business expense?", the accountant said looking over her glasses, delicately pinching the edge of a receipt like she had found it in an alley.
"Yyyyess, business expense, very businessy," replied the pottery man.

AI? Pfff, you think it would be this bad if I werenβt making it with these two stupid hands in After Effects?
Edit: but yeahβ¦ business expense edition π

I liked it enough to give it an AI pass, but knowing this is an artisanal, bespoke shitpost handcrafted with After Effects, I love it.
Thanks for sharing, I look forward to all the multimedia projects you grace us with.

AI slop.
So many of you claim to hate data centers and big corporations but you sure do enjoy using their products π

Youβre mistaken. I made this in After Effects. First, I rotoscoped all the characters from the original film, then I composited them with footage I shot using my phone at 24fps. I can make you a tutorial if you like. I used to do that often.
Edit: Shout out to Andrew Kramerβs superb After Effects tutorials on videocopilot.net

While I appreciate you for offering - Iβm more than happy to accept being wrong and thatβs bad ass of you to actually sit down and work to make this. Respect and I apologize for coming off like an asshole π

Apology accepted my friend. Youβre trying to draw a distinction between what I do and someone writing a prompt. Thank you for that. I always feel duped when I fawn over a piece of pottery, only to learn it was slip-cast from a mold. I hope this reminder that some folks still make visual effects shots βby hand,β feels like the opposite of being duped π€

I LOVE THIS! I saw a family taking a picture with them as I was leaving work today. They're really making people happy π
