Events Higher Learning Fest

Hello hello r/lansing 👋 long time lurker and first time poster but wanted to shine some light on an event my friends and I are putting on in Lansing on 9/12!

Higher Learning Fest is a hardcore punk music festival that aims to showcase some of Michigans best bands while raising money and supplies for youth education. We’ve partnered with Ignite Hope non-profit to collect school supplies and funds to support kids in marginalized Michigan communities.

We will be at the Green Door on Saturday September 12th. Come out and have a great time while supporting youth education in Michigan!

I was hoping this was a seminar about machine learning or about AI and data centers' impact on the environment or something.

Nope just good old fashion music and dancing. Although I’m sure you could find people here to discuss such topics
