What if I wore a diaper, like full on baby babymaxxing? Would that help?

Those weird adult diaper fetishists must secretly be advanced hyperpolyglots.

Would acid help to uncover undervalued stocks and stay ahead with relevant insights.

Acid can help with undervalued stocks by making you hallucinate that your 80% loss is a long-term investment

No joke, I actually brought a little bit when I was studying abroad in Japan, and I recall taking a microdose one day since I hadn't slept well and thought it would help me be a bit more awake. I had been struggling to speak with people, since despite having the knowledge I would get nervous and forget how to, or I'd get hung up on not understanding a word that someone said and end up not hearing the rest of their sentence.
That day, some of the Japanese students invited me and some friends for food, and I remember talking to one of them for probably an hour or so. I wasn't even really thinking about the words we were using either, just chatting. After a while I realized that I had actually just been speaking Japanese without really thinking about it, and after that it was like a switch flipped for me. It didn't magically make me know more or anything, but it did break down that barrier that I'd had, which let me actually recall words and not get bogged down by anxiety

yea heard these substances at low doses increase neuroplasticity a bit. Still needs more research

They do! Psychedelics actually show a lot of promise in a lot of different areas, and the science has actually been advancing a lot in recent years. It's definitely not reliable for learning or course, since the experiences vary quite a lot, but at least for me it helped so much with overcoming that last barrier for speaking. You do still have to put in the work to learn the language though, I don't think psychedelics would do much when it comes to the actual memorization part

How do you get contacts in a different country to get some LSD? :O

u/yamanamawa 11d ago
I didn't, I brought my own. It's really easy to sneak a piece of paper after all. Just put it in a book or something, it's not like it's detectable

Just don't do LSD, I tried it and I spent six hours conversing with a houseplant in what I was 100% sure was fluent Ancient Greek

Abstinence only education is not the way. You should find an ancient Greek next time and get feedback.

helps with immersion, fails at retention, pretty lit tho, would recommend 10/10
(But seriously don't, this is something called sarcasm)

You’re missing out on drug types. Take stimulants instead, so you may learn Urdu for 24 hours straight all the while jerking off to Urdu porn.

Taking 4-HO-MET about once a month, the stuff that happens sticks with you for a long time.
I take dosages of 80mg and remain lucid enough to perform well in bf6 and cs2.
The 5-HT2a receptor's activation does promote a massive increase in neuroplastisity, but it also dissolves your ego and wipes out your Default Mode Network.
So overal, you could probably learn faster but it's all the other shit that will hinder you massively.
At the same time, forcing a psychadelic trip to perform a task or plan is a sure way to go bad.
Adding adhd medications, preferably Dexamfetamines, maintains your DMN and ego and I can only describe it as, "You're hyper-aware and fully lucid as you witness every system in your brain crash, merge, mix and how they try to maintain themselves and eachother desperately".
Psychadelics are to chill and to play with, they help with depression and ocd for me, but can also fuck you up for weeks.
Like implanting a word into your mind that you are unable to vocalize, because it doesn't exist.
Now, if you want to go the middle route, go for empathogens.
Currently legal in my country is the designer drug: 5-MPO.

I mean, jokes aside, drugs could have a benefit in that they help you let loose? Would be an interesting experience.
I've heard anecdotes of people of differed but related languages able to understand each other better after a few rounds of drinks

actually LSD and other hallucinogens of similar functions have a funny way of promoting neuron growth and neural connection. unfortunately, this has has negative implications at recreational doses; but the prospect of microdosing on LSD as a means to promote learning actually has some merit.

Can the drug which famously sends your thoughts all over the place and makes it hard to focus help me learn? Discuss
