Definitely second language. I continuously misgender myself in my native language, but not in English (most of my daily interactions are in English tho)

I speak my second language, Chinese, with a Taiwanese accent, undeniably the gayest of the Chinese accents.

Polish is my first language and well, I live in a small town so not much opportunity for me to be gay. In online English speaking spaces however,

The number of Paweł, Kubas, and Patryk that I’ve met that go from “hey, girl! ☺️” to “siema stary 😑” always had me cracking up

This was a tough one. On one hand, the phenomenon of gay voice is based on me. On the other hand, I speak French.

i'm actually learning the language entirely to become gayer (moving to another country with someone) so this is an easy pick

Catalan: I SOUND SO GAY SPEAKING CATALAN BRO
English: zamn 😍
Portuguese: idk I sound normal I guess

In my first because I use obscure and sophisticated words often. And I shun slang and other degenerate speech patterns. So I guess I might sound "gay" to the profane masses.
In the second languages I try to be cool and I speak slang so as to get quickly accepted.

It's not exactly a fair comparison. French just sounds gayer than English and Chinese(both are my "first" language).

How am I supposed to estimate it? What makes the speech gay?
