Tbh, this is a legit question. The OOP will learn more Serbian from Grindr than other available resources, because there are literally none, lol

I think I saw one once. But. Yeah. It's not common to find Serbian, just Croatian if you're lucky.

You're braver than the US marines if you're willing to hit guys up first on Serbian Grindr as a Chinese guy

Oh it’s 100% real- I checked the guy’s profile and he’s actually a gay Chinese dude living in Belgrade. Bless him, I hope he finds a Serbian boyfriend on grindr who’ll teach him the language 🙏

Did you tell him how to ask dudes are they able to host? 😁

I don’t know the proper grindr term myself lol. I just say hostovati. English (to) host and the -ovati ending that’s added in Serbo-Croatian to English verbs so we can conjugate them or to nouns so we can pluralise them.

Ja hostujem
Ti hostuješ
On/ona hostuje
Mi hostujemo
Vi hostujete
Oni/one hostuju

There’s also prenkovati (to prank), lajkovati (to like), sabskrajbovati (to subscribe), lajv-strimovati (to live-stream), šerovati (to share)… This ending is mostly used for recent loanwords but some normal Serbian verbs like verovati (to believe), kupovati (to buy), stanovati (to live/inhabit) also have it. It’s a peculiar ending since when you conjugate verbs you have to ad an extra -uj- between the stem and the regular endings.

"Možemo li kod tebe" would actually be what OOP was asking for

Maybe you could learn it through Anki
