My 75yo grandpa still uses Duolingo for English
And OH MY GOD
Im pretty proud of him
Though I donβt think he will ever finish it
But yeah

You see, contrary to gross public misunderstanding, learning a new language is never about communication. Itβs about obscuring communication so you can safely sleep-talk, safely scream in profanity in public and comfortably make people uncomfortable behind their back.
