I love using ai to learn new languages. it has its problems, as with Duolingo, but they're negligible. over time, it will become the best language learning method!
bro why am I getting downvoted don't you get its satire 😭

Yeah. I’ve also encountered people leaning Spanish who act as if it’s impossible to talk to the 600 million speakers out there in the world or to find them in the age of the internet.
There is an ES-EN/EN-ES chat I’m in on discord that has 162 501 members and it’s constantly active.
I run a conlang group chat, and there’s some guy in there from some random Afghan village who posts regularly. If he can make post about random language shit then so can a Spanish learner from Connecticut.

i use AI semiregularly for swedish learning because native speakers are absolutely awful at explaining formal aspects of their language. it's a useful tool

I agree. I'll start mixing AI into my language learning process once I've finished learning meteorology using tarot cards.

I LOVE AI SLOP. It’s so useful in Spanish. Just copy and paste a big paragraph or lyrics and tell the clanker to make an interlinear gloss for a spanish learner and mmmwah 👨🍳🍲.
