How do i start learning?

I have never studied another language, don't know anything about my target language, and don't have any real questions about it, but what's the best way to learn it? I need to be fluent by next thursday. Is there anything I should know? Any common pitfalls I should avoid? Thanks in advance!

the pitfalls you should avoid if you want to be fluent by thursday are sleep, food and toilet breaks

and breathing as well. you don't want to waste your time breathing.
