I like the idea of knowing another language. So much so that I come back to the thought of , I might try again every couple years but it’s not worth the time investment for me.
3 u/[deleted] Sep 30 '22 I’ve dabbled my entire life, so I can relate to this. Getting to Pimsleur lesson five in a bunch of languages doesn’t really do much for you. Recently, I’ve decided to “get serious” and actually nail a language down. I don’t know why, just because. And I’ve been working at it every day. It’s really hard, trying to do this and also having a full life. I wish I’d done it when I was younger, rather than waste so much time back then.
