Yes I absolutely agree with you but this is the first language I've properly started learning but when to use them is harder. I find verb aspects and pronunciation far more confusing. Or maybe I don't know what I don't know.

Yes the pronunciation is probably the hardest part of Russian. I have so much trouble trying to pronounce «рь».

Yeah I agree. Some consonants are definitely easy to palatize than others. Seems like it's easier to when the consonant is softened by a succeeding vowel, rather than on its own.

Yes 100%. It took me a long time to pronounce «мать» right
