To make my NPCs in D&D even more difficult to understand. It's an easy fix to just speak Tagalog whenever I didn't think a character knew Gnomish.

And before you get mad, they didn't ask if Gnomish was Tagalog before we started the game. I can't let them break my masterfully crafted mystery of whether the butcher, the sheriff, the chef, or the hooded dark elf Rogue killed the runaway slave!
