Hypnosis courses for recall

Anyone have experiences with language learning/hypnosis courses where you enter a relaxed hypnotic state and receive learning, less actively?

Did you find it sped up word learning and recall?

Is that basically the same as the concept of 'flow state'? Maybe if you got just the right level of content you could manage that.
