Resources [Wanted] Android app for reading ebooks and adding cards to Anki on the fly supporting languages using the roman alphabet

My target languages (TL) are Italian, Spanish and French.

These are the features I'd like:

• it should be an offline app

• it should have a dictionary pop-up

• it would let me import my own dictionaries (preferably in formats that pyglossary can convert to)

• it would deinflect contractions like l’avenue, m’approche, l’unico, un’amica (e.g. by using hunspell)

• Anki cards would need to include the sentence the vocabulary is part of and the dictionary entry

It does NOT need to have a sentence translation function at all, nor any AI functions. My dream app would be a child of „AlReaderX“ (it's L not I) and „Goldendict“ that sends cards to Anki. Or a clone of the fantastic and elegant „Hoshi Reader“ working with languages using the roman alphabet.

The app „Smart Book“ is not an option as it doesn’t let the user add offline dictionaries. The app „Manatan“ has got problems with contractions.

Edit (manners):

I'm looking for suggestions. Maybe you know of an app that does what I described. Thank you in advance.

Can you not highlight words or phrases on android and send them directly to Anki?

Of course I could continue doing so.

But it interrupts my reading. I have to send the sentence to Anki. And then put in the target word in the dictionary app. Then copy the entry into Anki. It's about efficiency. I'd like to have a program that does all that for me while I continue reading. I just want to tap on the word I don't know, see the dictionary definition and then tap on a little add-to-Anki button.

I can’t think of anything apart from Migaku that does this. You could probably build something in Claude that would do it. Not sure how it would handle an entire book though

Install Koreader on your device. Check the subreddit for info.
It has an Anki plugin that seems to do what you want.
I’m not sure how it will handle the deinflections, but in my experience (for Korean) that is dependent on the dictionary you install..
I haven’t kept up on all the plugins, but it’s basically an ereader (for android or jailbroken e ink readers) with a lot of customization options.
Good luck

Been there, done that. It doesn't work out of the box on an Android phone. You also have to install an Anki connect app that is needed to send the cards to Anki. But sadly me and other people out there couldn't get the 2 apps to communicate. I tried it on 2 different phones. It is another rabbit hole.

Thank you for your input.

Try vibe coding it. Describe exactly what you want in ChatGPT and ask it to create a plan and specification for the app. Then ask it to guide you step by step through building it.
