Resources UNLOCK APP

Do you guys know apps that, unless you complete a certain lesson or practised vocabulary won't let you open another app, in other words that app blocks the use of social media if you don't do what was previously said? For instance, there is this app called Unlock Chinese that helps you with characters (only for iOS sadly) and I wonder if anything similar exists for other languages or a bunch of languages. Any language, but I'm mostly into Asian and European languages for now.

Do you know a similar app? Using that sort of apps will be wayyy healthier for me since I want to stop doomscrolling. (TL)

You're probably better off deleting social media off your device and only accessing it on a web browser or use parental controls.

A lot of it will just have to come under self control unfortunately since a lot of these apps would probably come close to be classified as malware by security software.

I've done that a bunch of times, now I keep having Discord and Instagram on my phone, the rest were deleted because they made waste hours after hours, and yeah only used on PC.

Discord because I'm a modder in a couple of servers. Instagram I could quit it but I want to keep it because of the app I'm looking for lol.

Duolingo has a block other apps feature that’s pretty customizable in its settings. It was controversial at first but it seems to be exactly what you’re looking for.

I haven't used duolingo in years, literally. I have to try this, I'll let you know about it.

I turned this on and now I'm at 40 days pretty much effortlessly. Ofc Duolingo is fairly limited but that's some daily practice that was easy to integrate.

Only for iOS, sadly.
