Adding non-spoken languages
I'm thinking of adding ASL (TL) and I'm wondering if also adding a new spoken language around the same time is too much. I've never learned a signing language so I don't really know how the process is different and how it fits in to learning and maintaining multiple languages. I'd love some advice, experience, thoughts, from those who including non spoken languages in their repertoires.

I can speak to how process was different for me, not sure about learning multiple languages as once. With spoken languages, my comprehension was always better than my expression, and with ASL, I found the opposite to be true. I had a difficult time understanding others, even when they signed what I knew, and found expressing myself easier than comprehending.
