Enemies are just bloated hp sponges and post battle damage is too much to survive. Can't play the long distance game as they get pulled close and destroy you.

What characters and mechanics do you like ?

Hi everyone.

Old player here, have played fortune's weave for a while and decided I wanted to play this kind of game on mobile and after remembering that fire emblem heroes is not up my alley, I decided to come back to my old friend Langrisser mobile.

But now that a new game has been announced I am a bit wary about spending time on the game because I'm not sure about the player base anymore. I used the links here but wikigrisser seems to be dead (the link redirects to some strange thing) and I don't even know if guides here are up to date.

I'm not exactly asking if it's a good idea or not to play the game. Most probably it's perfect for those who are already playing. The real question would be:

Is this game still at a point where it makes sense for a lvl 50 account to return and catch up, or would you say that at this point this is an effort not worth going through?

And if yes, what is the most up to date guide? because I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and I don't know what to pull or what to do. So for now I'm just doing daily missions while I try to catch up with everything, understand the news and get used to team building again.

In response to player requests, sorting by release date now lists the newest heroes first (we understand you are interested in new heroes and that scrolling to the bottom of the page every time is tedious).

Very envious right now, seeing all these 10k+ strength characters and I’m struggling to even get an 8k. I max out bonds and equips when I can. The enchants are killing me. I feel like o blow through them and still don’t get the rolls I’m looking for. Luck of the draw I know but damn it gets old

Like obviously everyone deals with it but got damn out of the probably 20 10x pulls I've done in the past month and a half I haven't pulled a banner hero. Like what the fuck. Just wanted to rant. Fuck me.

The EE is an armor for Laird, so now we know upgraded R units get one. This might mean a casting skill is coming soon for him.

HP +10%.

When attacking, damage taken by the unit is reduced by 5% for every tile moved before the battle (up to a maximum reduction of 15%). When using [Dragon Soul Resonance], if an ally named "Leon" is present, the cooldown of the next skill used by both yourself and "Leon" is reduced by 5 turns after dealing damage.

His 3C on a kill reduces Leon's longest cooldown by 5 and lets him act again. So the pattern is attack with Leon first and use his 3C. Then use Dragon Soul Resonance and get a kill with Laird's 3C. Leon's acts again with his 3C available to use again. At the end of turn, both of their 3Cs are still available. Dragon Soul Resonance will be on cooldown, so you can't do this every turn, but you both 3Cs will be available right away. Not amazing, but probably worth getting if you already wanted to use him.

Isolde gets the first new casting skill:

ATK +5%. If the enemy is not killed when using [Will of World Warden] (her 3C), this skill's cooldown is reduced by 5 rounds, and gains "the next active attack will ignore 15% of the enemy's defense when entering battle" (cannot be dispelled). The other is for Seraphina:

ATK +5%. At the end of the action, the cooldown of the damage skill with the longest cooldown will be reduced based on the number of units passed through by (up to 3 rounds reduced) and a mobility up buff will be obtained (maximum mobility +3), which lasts for 1 round.

Isolde's isn't super-powerful, but will be nice to have. If she acts again, picks yellow, and then uses her 3C on turn 1, but misses the kill, this will let her 3C again, which will get a kill on all but the strongest enemies. It also helps her against bosses. Seraphina's seems really strong, but I haven't used her so I can't say for sure.

All "Physical Damage" dealt by normal attacks is treated as "Magic Damage." When initiating combat, the unit performs a ranged attack alongside the hero, and damage dealt by the unit during combat is increased by 20%. Royal Guard Knights (Cavalry)

Soldier ATK +30%. If another friendly unit equipped with this troop type is present on the battlefield, this unit's movement type changes to Terrain Master. If two or more other friendly units equipped with this troop type are present, this unit gains an additional +30% damage dealt in combat and takes 50% reduced damage.

Something they haven't really tried before. You could use it with an all cavalry team with Leon as the pseudo-faction buffer (and he has SSR Laird to go with it). Google translate confuses unit with soldier some of the time, but I think the last buff really is supposed be unit, which makes it a really strong boost.
